Prevention/Protection
Chrome scratches easily, so we recommended that you do not use abrasive cleaners or materials to clean.
Chrome furniture is not suitable for outdoors, unless the product is specifically specified for outdoor use.
Water is not a friend, so you should always dry chrome surfaces if they get wet; the steel underneath is particularly susceptible to rust and is often vulnerable around joints etc.
It is important to regularly check your chrome furniture for rust spots, scratches and chips. These blemishes have exposed the mild steel beneath, leaving it open to the elements, causing rust. In the event of rust appearing through your chrome finish we suggest balling up aluminium foil and rubbing it gently on the rusty areas to smooth and shine them up.
Cleaning
To clean, use a clean, soft cloth or sponge with methylated spirits or vinegar to remove general grime. After cleaning, it is important dry with a soft cloth.
