Bench seats are one of the most adaptable furniture choices you can make.
Dining benches – Great for seating more guests, creating a relaxed, communal style around the table.
Hallway & entry benches – Slimline solutions for storing shoes, bags, or simply making an entryway feel welcoming.
Outdoor benches – Our aluminium outdoor benches and aluminium–teak benches are designed to handle New Zealand’s climate while still looking sharp.
Hospitality & café seating – Strong, easy-to-maintain designs that suit commercial spaces needing communal seating with a contemporary look.
Oak benches.
Timeless and versatile, oak benches work beautifully in both dining and entryway spaces. Our Stockholm oak bench features a solid oak seat and legs, offering a clean, Scandinavian-inspired design that’s built to last.
Industrial benches.
If you’re after a bench with character, industrial designs balance natural timber with steel. The Marko bench seat pairs an oak seat with powder-coated steel legs in white or black, simple, modern, and built for daily use.
Aluminium & teak outdoor benches.
For outdoor spaces, durability is key. Our Karaka outdoor bench blends powder-coated aluminium with warm teak slats, combining strength, easy maintenance, and natural style. We also offer lightweight aluminium-only outdoor benches, perfect for communal dining in NZ’s ever-changing weather.
A bench seat offers something chairs alone can’t: flexibility and space-saving design. They seat more people comfortably, tuck neatly under dining tables when not in use, and create a clean, open look in any room. For hospitality, they’re an efficient way to add communal seating without clutter.
What size dining bench should I choose?
Most dining tables are around 75cm high, so a bench seat height of about 45cm works best. As a guide, if your dining table is 2m long, we recommend a 1.8m bench seat — it will tuck neatly under the table while leaving enough room for movement.
Do bench seats work in small spaces?
Yes. A bench seat takes up less visual space than individual chairs and can be pushed under the table when not in use, making them ideal for apartments or compact dining areas.
What’s the best material for outdoor benches in NZ?
Look for powder-coated aluminium benches or aluminium–teak combinations. Both are durable, weather-resistant, and well-suited to New Zealand conditions.
