A Tauranga Café with a Legacy.

Located in downtown Tauranga, the Robert Harris Café is designed as a welcoming space where locals can gather, connect, and enjoy great coffee. As one of New Zealand’s most recognisable coffee brands, Robert Harris carries a long tradition of community and quality, dating back to its founder Bob’s early days crafting blends in a small delicatessen. This new fitout continues that spirit, offering a warm, vibrant environment to savour both coffee and conversation.

Warm Timbers and Cozy Corners.

The interior strikes a balance between modern functionality and homely comfort. Warm timbers, soft tan seating, and deep green feature walls create a cozy, inviting backdrop. Natural textures and layered finishes are paired with thoughtful layout choices, allowing the café to feel both open and intimate. From soft lounge areas to casual café tables, the design encourages guests to linger — whether for a quick coffee break or an extended meeting with friends.

Furniture Designed for Flexibility.

Cintesi was proud to supply the full range of furniture for this fitout. For dining, Tolix Replica chairs provide durable, stackable café seating that works seamlessly with solid oak table tops mounted on Star aluminium bases. Though typically outdoor furniture, these lightweight bases allow for easy reconfiguration of layouts to suit group sizes.

From Stools to Sofas.

Bar areas feature Harper bar leaners with oak tops, paired with Jack indoor timber stools, offering stylish elevated seating. In the lounge zones, George sofas and Harold tub chairs add comfort and softness, rounding out the relaxed, layered look. Together, these café tables and chairs, stackable café chairs, dining chairs, and bar stools bring flexibility, comfort, and cohesion to the Robert Harris interior.
