VT Station - Where Design Meets Culinary Heritage

Client is VT Station

Inspired by the historic Victoria Terminus station in Mumbai, V.T. Station brings the vibrant energy of India’s street food culture to the heart of Newmarket. Founders Angela Gaikwad and Harry Singh have crafted a dining experience that not only celebrates the diverse flavours of India but also transports diners with its evocative interior design.

The Interior: A Modern Nod to History.

V.T. Station’s interiors are a seamless blend of British Victorian-era design and contemporary sophistication. With panelled wood, exposed concrete, tonal accents, and intricately patterned tiles, the space pays homage to its namesake without feeling overly themed. This balance creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for everything from a quick bite to an evening of cocktails.

To enhance the restaurant’s distinct character, we supplied a selection of Bentwood chairs and bar stools. Crafted in a rich walnut timber finish, these pieces perfectly align with the restaurant’s vintage-inspired aesthetic. The seating features custom upholstery in a stunning green tone, echoing the restaurant’s signature colour palette and adding a layer of inviting comfort for diners. Whether seated at the bar or around a table, the furniture’s timeless design complements the warm textures and tonal contrasts of the space.

Whether you’re there for the food, the drinks, or the ambiance, V.T. Station invites you to sit back, relax, and enjoy a journey through India’s rich culinary and cultural heritage — with furniture that helps tell its story.
