Located on Auckland’s waterfront in the heart of Wynyard Quarter, Wynyard Pavilion is a vibrant bar and eatery housed in a transformed former cargo shed. With a coastal-inspired design and open, airy layout, the space needed furniture that not only looked great but could also withstand the challenges of a salty, high-traffic environment.
That’s where our selection of restaurant furniture came in—blending aesthetic cohesion with performance-driven practicality.
Furniture that works hard and looks good.
The design team behind Wynyard Pavilion knew the interior would be constantly exposed to sea air, humidity, and changing temperatures. So, even though much of the seating is located indoors, the choice to use outdoor-grade furniture inside was a strategic one.
Our Fleur Bar Stools and matching dining chairs feature aluminium frames with a bamboo-look finish and handwoven synthetic wicker. They deliver a laid-back, beach-club aesthetic while also offering exceptional durability. Resistant to moisture and corrosion, they’re ideal for coastal settings and ensure longevity in the harsh marine environment.
These were paired with Lucca stainless steel bases and outdoor timber tops, creating a flexible mix of bar tables, café tables, and outdoor dining settings that carry the same visual language across the entire venue.
Consistency from indoors to out.
From the bright, open-plan bar to the sun-drenched terrace and leafy garden bar, the furniture plays a central role in unifying the different zones. Timber dining chairs—similar to our Lillian collection, offer comfort and support in the main dining space, while Replica Tolix Bar Stools add an industrial twist to the private garden bar.
Strategic styles were cleverly chosen not only for their design appeal but also for their ability to transition seamlessly between indoor and outdoor settings, supporting the Pavilion’s relaxed, go-anywhere atmosphere.
