The Bridge has long been a beloved fixture in the Prebbleton community. After 23 years under the same ownership, the venue changed hands and began a bold new chapter. The new owners saw an opportunity to breathe fresh life into the space, honouring its heritage while giving it a contemporary edge. They made the decision to close the doors for a full year, undertaking an extensive renovation that transformed both the interior and exterior.
Now reopened and thriving, The Bridge is once again a local favourite, this time with a refreshed identity that blends timeless character, modern comfort, and standout design. Thoughtfully chosen restaurant furniture complemented the new design, adding functional comfort while seamlessly aligning with the refreshed interior aesthetic.
Bringing the Vision to Life with Rich Colour and Texture.
The new interior palette at The Bridge sets a warm, inviting tone. Rich timber floors and dark-stained table tops ground the space with rustic authenticity, while olive green and textured upholstery on booth seating enhances the natural, earthy mood. Our replica Elbow dining chairs in a warm walnut finish complement these tones beautifully bringing a modern, Scandinavian-inspired elegance to the dining areas.
Soft caramel tones on the quilted Brian bar stools provide contrast and comfort at the main bar, adding a luxe visual accent that doesn’t overpower the venue’s homely atmosphere. The creamy beige wall tones, paired with refined panelling and soft ambient lighting, round out a palette that’s both cohesive and considered.

In the main dining spaces, Hydra round café table bases provide a minimalist yet durable foundation for the dark timber tops, allowing the natural materials to shine. These pair seamlessly with our walnut café chairs to create intimate, stylish table settings.
The cohesive use of materials; solid wood, quilted upholstery, and black powder-coated steel, creates a tactile richness that feels elevated without being fussy.
