Coco's Trattoria is a family-owned restaurant in Mount Maunganui, bringing together authentic Italian flavours, warm hospitality, and a contemporary dining experience.
As part of the restaurant fit-out, the team wanted to create a space that felt welcoming and comfortable while supporting the practical demands of a busy hospitality environment. The furniture needed to work across both indoor and outdoor dining areas, creating a cohesive look while accommodating a variety of guest experiences throughout the day.

The restaurant required furniture solutions that balanced style, durability, and flexibility across multiple dining zones.
Indoors, the space needed to feel warm and inviting while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Outdoors, the furniture needed to withstand regular commercial use while complementing the relaxed coastal atmosphere that makes Mount Maunganui such a popular destination.
A key consideration was ensuring every area of the venue felt connected, creating a consistent customer experience from the dining room through to the alfresco seating areas.

To achieve this, a carefully selected mix of commercial-grade furniture was used throughout the venue.
Inside the restaurant, solid oak table tops in a dark oak finish were paired with black Konus square steel bases, creating a simple and timeless foundation for the dining spaces. Seating included Hans Wegner Replica Elbow Chairs and Brian Bar Stools in Anthracite, adding warmth, comfort, and visual consistency throughout the interior.
For the outdoor dining area, Toulouse round table tops with a travertine-look finish were combined with Star aluminium bases to create a durable and practical solution suited to alfresco hospitality. Chloe Chairs and Cannes Bar Stools completed the space, introducing a classic European influence that complements the restaurant's Italian-inspired character.
The result is a furniture scheme that feels cohesive across both indoor and outdoor areas while supporting the day-to-day needs of the venue.
