Bringing the outdoors into play.
Mount Golf Club completed a major renovation of its clubhouse exterior, creating an opportunity to reimagine how members could enjoy the outdoor spaces surrounding the club.
Having previously supplied the interior furniture, we worked alongside the club once again to help create an outdoor environment that felt like a natural extension of the clubhouse. The goal was to increase outdoor seating capacity while delivering a more contemporary hospitality experience for members to enjoy throughout the year.
Creating a seamless outdoor extension.
The challenge was to create an outdoor space that felt connected to the existing clubhouse while meeting the practical demands of daily use.
As a busy members' club, the outdoor area needed to accommodate everything from post-round drinks and casual dining through to larger social gatherings. Durability and ease of maintenance were key considerations, with furniture required to withstand the elements while maintaining its appearance over time.
The renovated exterior also presented an opportunity to create a more cohesive visual connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces, ensuring members experienced the same welcoming atmosphere throughout the venue.
Designed for dining and connection.
A carefully selected combination of outdoor dining tables and bar leaners helped maximise seating options while creating flexibility for different group sizes and occasions.
Raglan slatted aluminium tables and leaners were chosen for their durability, low-maintenance construction, and contemporary appearance. Finished in anthracite, they complement both the modern clubhouse exterior and the light decking introduced as part of the renovation.
The seating selection continued the design language established inside the clubhouse, with Emi outdoor dining chairs and bar stools creating consistency between the two spaces. While the indoor chairs were adapted for comfort, by adding a seat pad, the furniture maintains a familiar look and feel that helps unify the overall member experience.
Together, these selections created a practical and cohesive outdoor hospitality space designed to support the way members use the club every day.
A welcoming space beyond the clubhouse.
The completed outdoor area has become a natural extension of the clubhouse, providing members with additional space to relax, dine, and socialise while enjoying views across the course.
By increasing seating capacity and creating greater flexibility for gatherings, the renovation has expanded the club's ability to accommodate members comfortably throughout the day. The durable, weather-resistant furniture ensures the space remains easy to maintain while continuing to perform in a demanding outdoor environment.
The result is a contemporary outdoor destination that complements the renovated clubhouse and provides members with even more ways to enjoy their time at Mount Golf Club.
