Located on the corner of Devonport Road and Wharf Street on The Strand in Tauranga, The Grocer brings a welcoming café and restaurant experience to the city's waterfront.

With its sunny coastal setting, coffee window and position alongside Wharf Street's pedestrian-friendly dining precinct, the venue offers plenty of ways to stop in, whether it's a morning coffee, a casual lunch or a meal with friends.

The furniture also needed to feel connected across the different areas without making every setting identical. Natural timber and crisp white finishes provide a consistent foundation, while contrasting chair colours bring personality to the interior.

Inside, natural Solid oak table tops are paired with white Konus table bases, creating a warm, understated foundation for the dining area. A mix of table sizes provides options for smaller and larger groups, helping the restaurant make effective use of its floor space.

Barry dining chairs in green and burgundy introduce colour and character against the natural oak and white finishes. Their contrasting tones give the interior a distinctive look while keeping the overall furniture selection cohesive.
